Abstract

Nipah virus is a zoonotic virus which recently caused an outbreak in the state of Kerela, India. As the number of outbreaks of Nipah virus have been very limited, the people are not aware about the virus and its deadly complications. Due to very high fatality rate of Nipah viral infection, it is important for all of us to be aware of the signs and symptoms of the viral infection for early case detection and management of Nipah virus.
